Custom Postprocessors

Conversion of CAM Data for NC/CNC

The software that converts CAD/CAM data to specific machine tool commands is called a postprocessor. While this name was indicative of the old style language programming systems of thirty years past and their sequential method of operations, the importance of accurate production of machine control data remains just as important to the productivity of NC/CNC equipment in today's factory as it did when the term, postprocessor, was first created. Warranty

Each custom postprocessor is provided with a 90 day warranty. This warranty includes SMI's commitment to correct any reported discrepancies in operation that are contrary to either your firm's written requirements or machine/control specifications supplied at time of order. Extended maintenance and support, including technical updates are also available.

Additional Services
